Hope you all had a great New Years filled with apple cider (my favorite) or champagne and I hope you have good luck fulfilling your own resolutions! I got to spend New Years Eve at my sister's house and it was awesome, even if we crashed early at 2 am. >:P Then, we had a faux New Years Eve last night with my family and our family friends at my house (invited my sister over, too) and we played Mario Party and other video games from 5:30 in the evening until 11 at night. I kind of expected it, but... Kelly (the friend I meant to go to SacAnime with this weekend) couldn't go because she couldn't afford it, and even if I wanted to go alone, I wouldn't have a ride. And when I offered to pay for her, she said she would just skip the convention. That makes the second time this kind of thing has happened; first was with Fanime (more understandable, because it costs more). And I'm pissed. Fanime was supposed to be my first con, and when that didn't happen, this was supposed to be. And it's on my birthday too. (HAPPY birthday to me...
